Hackenpedder is a self-supported bikepacking event through Schleswig-Holstein, starting from Kiel. The route is beginner-friendly in concept but still demanding, with mixed surfaces from Baltic Sea cliffs and gravel tracks to forests, moors, quiet roads and windy dikes. The 2026 shared start includes community warm-up, roadbook, self-hosted tracking, checkpoints and brevet card. Registration is limited to 130 riders and uses a contribution guideline rather than a fixed fee.
