dust & distance is a self-supported ultra-cycling gravel challenge starting and finishing in Munich, with fixed routes through the Northern Alps south of the city. The 2026 first edition offers two formats, dusted300 and distanced600, across gravel roads, forest tracks, natural trails, rough alpine climbs, and some hike-a-bike. Riders follow the prescribed route independently, carry GPS trackers, and may enter solo or as a registered pair.
